BIM is a method that uses a parametric model containing all the information regarding the entire life cycle of a work, from design to construction, until its demolition and disposal.
It collects, combines and digitally links all the architectural, structural, plant engineering data, etc.... in a single three-dimensional virtual model so as to allow full collaboration between the designers and also reducing the timing and possible incongruities between the specialties.
